    where did you get the high voltage wire from the homemade capacitor and is the 9 gauge insulated wire in AWG or SWG? Also in the video you said the copper wire is 27 gauge but in the description it says 24 gauge copper wire

    Probably your coil is what makes this NOT so powerful

      You wound 1st layer one way then the second layer was wound back the opposite way? So 1st layer would be n/s and second layer would be s/n Every layer should be wound the same way, then you'd have 2xn/s 2x the propulsion. You've probably got a magnetic field that is about 20% of just one layer, because the multi-opposing layers are literally cancelling each other out

      The direction of current remains the same in every layer. It does not matter if I wound it top to down or down to top.

    Have you tried your line following robot with dead end map and does it follow the line with a mixture map(white line with black bavkground and black line with white background)?

    How about using a QTR sensor? Me and my friends were able to make a similar fast PID based line follower, during the build we realised that the gap between the IRs was also a deal breaker (QTR being compact, solves this issue) . Also can you upgrade this to a maze solver next please, would be interesting to see that! Good video!

      Thanks for the suggestion, I did consider a qtr sensor, however due to availability issues I went this one. Maze solver would be an interesting project!
